FOCUS Film Festival
Kicks off Thursday, October 3rd in Sierra Nevada's Big Room. Watch the documentary film "Dancing Salmon Home" and meet the chief and spiritual leader of the Winnemem Wintu Tribe. The festival continues Friday and Saturday at Chico State's Colusa Hall. Tickets for the kickoff event are 5 dollars. A 3-day pass is 30 dollars, 25 for two days.

Elk Creek Arts Festival

North Valley Christian Schools BBQ
This 12th Annual Fall Event is on the NVCS campus, off Highway 32, a half-mile east of Orland. Tickets are 10 dollars for adults. Dinners include a choice of Tri-Tip beer or chicken, with ranch-style beans, salad, roll, and beverages. Meals are also available for take-out. Live music featuring the Murdock Ramblers will accompany the meal.
Harvest Dinner Under The Stars
The Northern California Regional Land Trust is putting on this third annual event. It consists of local cuisine served by candlelight, along with a tour of the historic Llano Seco Rancho. There's also live music, wine tasting, and a raffle. Tickets are 80 dollars for non-members, 60 for members. At 8369 Hugh Baber Lane in Chico.
A Night Of Classic Music
Sweet Dreams returns to the stage, a tribute to Patsy Cline,
along with Big D and the Semi-Tones. A benefit for PAWS at
Lake Oroville Golf and Event Center. Tickets are 15 dollars, and includes dinner.
